I would like to introduce you all to my new babies..

Proud wife of an Ironworker..
Mommy to 2 beautiful girls..
Step-Mommy to 2 older kids..
Ani-mommy to 3 crazy cats (Nutter, Otep and Noodle)..
2 gorgeous dogs; a bouvier mix (Harley) and a beagle (Ringo)..
A piranha (Fluffy)..
And now bird-mommy to 2 zebra finches named Jack and Sally.

Jack and Sally make a lovely couple! You will enjoy them, Zebras are very entertaining.

Thanks. I'm really happy with our decision to get them. They are a perfect fit!

I hope they are settling in nicely.
Did you get them from a Pet Shop or breeder?
Your Jack and Sally remind me of two of mine, Timmy and Millie. Let's see if I can dig up a couple of pictures to compare.

lovezebs I would have much preferred a breeder.. but could not find a reputable one locally.. so unfortunately they came from petsmart. I'm still looking though.. in case I want to aquire more in the future lol

I have quite a few birds from Pet Shops. At times it's impossible to find breeders in the immediate area. Eventually you get to know some people, who know other people and you get a little Finch network going as to who has what. Also check out bird clubs in your area and join. It's a great way to meet breeders and other bird people, and find out about bird shows, bird products and so on.
