Multi Questions! Decisions and Measurements... Sale?
I am debating on which cage to get. Im debating between Prevue Hendryx f050 and the f030. The f050 would surely fit where I am planning on, but I'm not so sure about the f030. Does anyone own the f030? I am wondering what the interior dimensions of the cage are. Also, curious as to @ what height of the cage does the "roof" come down to? Im wondering if it would be above the bookshelf (which is built into the wall). If the measurements don't fit, I cannot has it! Lol! Oh, and has anyone ever held out for black friday or cyber monday bird cage sales? I am shopping for my zebbies

Re: Multi Questions! Decisions and Measurements... Sale?
I have the Prevue F030, so I measured it for you. When they publish the measurements, those are outside measurements, so the cage is 37w x 27.5 deep. The inside measurements are 35w x 25.5 deep. It is 37 high at the front and back, and 47 high at the roof peak. The roof itself measures 42w x 32 deep, the roof has roughly a 2" overhang. Measuring up from the floor, the bottom of the roof is 57" from the floor. I hope this helps, if you need any other measurements, just ask.
As far as Black Friday, I've never noticed anyone having especially good sales on bird cages at that time, but I haven't been looking then.

xdartfrogx, I'm in that boat right now. I just keep checking all sites for prices and try to find sales. No luck yet. Have you tried craigslist?

Why not build your own? with a little bit of patience and some good old elbow grease you can build one for a fraction of the price.
Bird species bred up till now : Zebras, Bengalese, Javas, Diamond doves, Canaries.

Thank you very much Sally!
@jebediah, I do check craigslist, but not for cages. I have a light fear of bringing home blood mites on a pre-loved cage.
I'm not sure if it's really a rational fear to have, but I have read of other bird lovers having such misfortunes. I would never forgive myself if I brought home something like that.
The cheapest I'm seeing the f030 for is $169.99 and the f050 for $171.16 + tax. Free shipping. Anyone seen anything cheaper than that? I am still sifting through the internet trying to find a better deal. I found the petmart and petco ads but neither cage is featured in their black friday ads. I'm wondering if there are any online shops that will do a cyber monday deal...

kristofer, I would love to build my own! But we need something simple and spacious for now. We live in a very small cottage apt atm. Someday when I have more space I intend to build an outdoor aviary like I had as a kid. Plus, I think the landlord would be happier to see something clean cut rather than a woodwork piece if they do another walkthrough. We don't have a yard, so they are indoor birds

Re: Multi Questions! Decisions and Measurements... Sale?
Sally, Thank you for the measurements. They helped me arrive at my final decision. I ended up ordering the Prevue F050. It actually arrived the other day, but unfortunately the carrier destroyed the cage. One of the legs is terribly bent about 45 degrees outwards, the seed cups had the feet broken off, and welding was snapped and broken in various places. Such a shame! So, the seller is graciously sending over another one. It actually worked out in a way. Both of my pairs just hatched another clutch the day before the new cage arrived, so I wouldn't have been able to move them over anyways until the nestlings fledged. So time is on my side at this point! Oh, and if anyone is wondering, the carrier was Fedex.
