A canary in the hand is worth a whole flock in the bush

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

A canary in the hand is worth a whole flock in the bush

Post by MariusStegmann » Fri Dec 12, 2014 3:23 pm

My latest lot of canaries fletched yesterday. The white of the feathers are a bit exaggerated by the flash. The one has very interesting colours, the left wing is brown and the right side of the head has a brown splash.

Cuties. Love the one with the dark splash across the eye. I would name him Bandit.

The one with the brown over the right eye, you could call him Calico Jack, after the Buccaneer era pirate by that name :)

Very nice canaries. I wish they would stay tame.
