44 Eggs ..............

Well, to those all who have followed my family since May 11th - 2014 I was then a totally uneducated and not informed at all person because of the bad terrible people on this forum, who gave me no help at all...........

:D Yeh yeh, ok ok ok....... you all know full well I am now really full of it ha ha :P

In all honesty if it was NOT for these KIND and helpful people on this forum my family would have died long ago....

So...... since then when the seller of my birds to me never gave me any info, and my family started to try raise a family when they were only 2 months old, it never worked due to obvious reasons...

So, I kept a log book of daily things, and till today, including 2 eggs they ate, one I broke and the grand tally is 44 eggs, EXCLUDING the 3 babies I have had so far. :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

I have a bowl and it has in total 41 eggs in it and the others missing makes 44.

I am amazed they have had so many since May 11th. [-o<

Anyway, this is just proof that as in all things in life we need to know exactly whats happening so we can look at things properly.

That's enough for a nice omelet, I'll be by for lunch tomorrow. =)) =)) =)) .

How many birds did you start with originally? Sorry, can't remember. How many live babies so far?

Just a quick question here, are you wanting your bird children to breed and give you feathered grandkids? If this really isn't something that you are aiming for my friend, then I would be removing those nests. If you really are interested in breeding, make sure your girl, is getting PLENTY of calcium, and that both of them are getting a really really good diet.

Yes only had these two birds, and 44 eggs. As mentioned.

Yes want to get babies, I have had 3 so far from last 7 eggs.

Yes they are full of calcium......

Just took them all out a counted again. Yep 44 in total.

I saw them mating 22nd December, she just laid her first new egg 5 minutes ago.........
