Hey Elana!
I know haven't been as active lately. I got a new iPad Air for Christmas so I have been playing that a lot! I got some amazing gifts this year!

I hope you also have a great new year! Doing anything special to celebrate today? We are having Aunt Ginene Uncle joe and lil joe over today!

lovezebs Yes they are! Thanks!!! The ipad Air is one of the newer Apple inventions. Its a great tablet, lots of fun games and takes clear pictures. The birds are wishing their Canadian finches and the awesome forum Elana a happy new year.

We just moved into a huge house. Obscenely large....but it was such a good deal.... So that's not an issue. I have empty rooms.

I have a sign that says "Welcome to the zoo" by the back door. My friends are used to it. We have six dogs, four cats, and five snakes. Now birds!!!

Two dogs, two cats, fish, won't mention how many birds, and two sons that won't leave home (24 and 25) and a soon to be daughter in law. Small townhouse

I didn't mention the 19 year old son (they're his snakes),the 18 year old daughter, the 10 year old step daughter, the husband, or my father. Luckily, it's a large house and my dad has his own floor. But I totally understand!

That ship sailed for me a long time ago!

I used to have a huge 6-bedroom, 3 floor (or 4 if you include the basement) 3,000 SF victorian with just my husband and I. So we did what any smart person would do -- we filled the house with creatures!

Then we moved to Florida, to a 1900 SF, 4-bedroom. Big difference! But I actually prefer it like this. In my old house, I could easily go a day or two without seeing one of my cats! Now, everyone is more clumped together and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I live in a small town house, and so there are some limits. If I lived in a large house, good grief, I don't even want to think about it. That could be dangerous.

By the way, the fourth one down, is a shy little he, not a she. They were supposed to be a pair, and turned out to be a pair alright, a pair of boys .

Regarding the Stars, I never liked the red ones for some reason. Then I saw the yellows (or oranges) and thought they were the cutest thing ever. Isn't that strange?
