Feather pluck victim

I'm really having a hard time trying to figure out what I can do with my little white zebra hen. Her first mate plucked her pretty bad, so I separated them and allowed the feathers to grow back. Once they were in, I put her into a cage with a male who had lost his mate a few weeks prior. Well, he plucked her pretty bad as well, so I followed the same steps to get her back to normal. I then stuck her in with some societies. They ignored her for the most part, but I felt bad about her not having a mate of her kind. So, when I had another death of a hen, I stuck her in the cage with the male zebra about a week or so later. The male is a Phaeo, and never had serious issues with plucking his previous mate, who was also white. They ended up getting along great, and were doing fantastic for a month or more. I figured that I would stick in a nest box and see what they did. For weeks they have been going in and out of the nest, but haven't laid any eggs. In the last couple days, I noticed more heavy feather plucking. I'm afraid that taking away the nest box won't fix the problem though. This is pretty much the last male that I have in the zebra family.

Should I take the box away and see what happens, or should she be adopted by the societies? If anyone has any other ideas, I'd really love to hear them!

If there are no eggs, I would pull her. She should be fine with the Societies. Once she's back in shape, is there another female Zebra, that she could go in with?

I have a cage with two female zebras that are permanently injured in some way. But, I don't think the cage will work with a third bird in there. I could try it, but it'll be a tight fit.

I have this problem with a white male. I took him out, he re-grew his feathers. I put him back and they plucked him all over. It's just his neck though. I finally decided he was destined to live alone, or with no neck feathers....

I don't know why, but it seems to be the white birds that get the worst of it. If you have another place for her to live where she could be happy and healthy, I would put her there.

I ended up putting her in with a couple of societies. They're ignoring her, but at least she isn't being plucked.
