Building a cage and looking for suggestions.

Post by tobyrosie » Fri Jan 23, 2015 1:24 pm

Hi everyone,
I am going to build a cage for my birds. I only have 3 right now but would like to get more. I am going to use plexiglass for front and back and most of the sides, wire grates for top of sides and the top. Size will be around 4' x 2.5' x 3.5'?
I would like a lot of input on your suggestions for thickness of plexiglass, type of flooring, one or two drawers for cleaning, placement of openings to clean and place food, etc.
Thank you!
Robin

I hope you can get some great idea, but if not please share what you create. I will be in your shoes soon I think.
Tiny flutters,
Linda
