looking Diamond Firetails

Post by rainbowfinch » Thu Feb 13, 2014 7:14 pm

Hi,
I recently joined the group and I am looking for female Diamond Firetails. I have an extra male from the east coast if you are needing some new blood in your aviary. I also have many other birds for trade such as Lady Gouldians, Stars, Owl Finch and Cape Doves. I may also be interested in buying a few females.

I just weaned 4 Owl Finch siblings and they are ready for new homes. I am asking $75 per bird unsexed. I am willing to trade them for Diamond Firetail Finches.
I am located in southern Indiana.
Thank you

Diamond Firetail

Post by rainbowfinch » Sat Feb 07, 2015 11:37 am

I wanted to tell the forum I am no longer looking for Diamond Firetails. I purchased 2 pairs last fall and have since raised several youngsters. The pairs I bred are normal split to fawn and they have raised normal, fawn, silver and white ? babies.

They are gorgeous. I love the white chicks. Please post pictures of what the adults look like.
I absolutely love the looks of this species, but never see them up here in Canada.
