Of course.
Some months ago, I went to the Pet Shop, and saw a stunningly beautiful male Gouldian. I fell in love with him. At the time however, I could not buy him (too poor

). The next time I went in, he was gone, and I thought he was sold

.
Well, a few days ago, I went back to the Pet Shop, to look at the Yellow back males. I was talking to the Bird Manager of the store, when I happened to look into the back room behind the bird display area (that is usually closed off to the customers) and there he was , in a large cage with a few other birds.
Not stunning anymore, and in terrible shape, but still singing and beautiful to me.
I asked the girl, what happened (?) She said, that this bird and a few others went into a heavy molt, and never came out of their molt properly. The staff at the store apparantly have tried everything, but nothing worked.
I told her, that I wanted him, and after a little bit of haggling, I got him, for two thirds the price they wanted.
My poor little boy, came home with me, and hasn't stopped singing and eating

.
My question would be, how would you treat a bird in such bad condition? Sorry, the pictures are not good, but you can still see. I would be grateful for any advice.
