lovezebs, There was an incident that happened and frightened my whole African flight, and as a result killed my fire hen...At least I think that's what happened. And now my gbw hen is missing.

Oh dear....I'm so sorry go hear that. It doesn't take much to freak them out, does it?

My son, went into the kitchen one night after lights out (we usually have a light over the stove on untill our bed time) and one bird woke up, saw a tall 'MONSTER' in the dark, gave the alarm, and all hell broke loose. Talk about a panic attack OMG.

I yelled at him, turn the light on, turn the light on! Once he did, I had a bunch of birds panting and wild eyed, feathers everywhere. It took quite a while to get them all calmed down again. Luckily, I didn't have anyone drop dead of a heart attack, or break their necks against the bars.

I'm just glad that at least one good thing came out of it, your Fire boy feeding your babies.
