Not honestly sure where Pensacola, FL is in relation to some of our members, but I know cindy and Sunbay are both from Florida. Perhaps they have some contacts who breed that they could introduce you to.

colt pesnsacola is on the far west of the Florida Panhandle, pretty far away from cindy and sunbay. jamezyboo21 hope you find the finches you want.

There is only one Store within 30 minutes from where I live. They carry the everyday finches you see in most pet shops but, can order other finches if you plan on spending a few hundred dollars worth. I went yesterday to get supplies and she had good news. A lady is thinning out her aviary and has several fire finches and cordon blues to rehome. She is gonna call me sometime this week to let me know when the last brings them to her. I have know the owner of the store when she first started out of a Flea Market almost 10 years ago. Now she has expanded her store three times since then and bought out little stores next to hers to expand.

Have you heard of the Cage Bird Menagerie (Possibly Caged)? I believe that is strictly a birds only store that specializes in the smaller finches and canaries. I know it's located in Florida, but again not sure where in relation to you.

Yeah, I actually know the owner. I met her a few years back before she started getting back into the finch world. Her name is Candice and I introduced her to the finchforum. I haven't seen her on here in a while but she use to go by Cando Aviary. She is located in Panama City Beach with is about a 2 1/2 hour drive. I gave never been to her store but I'm def gonna check it out if I ever go out that way.

It is so hard to find any breeders close to Pensacola fl. I have thought about getting in contact with other breeders you have tried mailing eggs. I never tried it in the past but wanted to. Especially when Strawberry finches were hardcto come across and i really wanted to try and breed a young pair. Mine were already old and i didnt want to stress them out. The Bird Mart that comes here twice a year has such a small selection of finches because we don't have many vendors and most only deal with bigger birds.
