Gouldian fledgling

Hello all, today my 4 gouldians fledged! This is the first brood they have raised on their own.
Just a picture of 3 of them.

Thanks. Yes green backs they are my first and only pair. Hard to find any mutations here in bc canada..

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I always find new Gouldi fledglings adorable. They are so serious, as they look around their new world outside the nest.

In the next little while, you can place some spray millet close to where they like to sit, and half slices of cucumber. With my guys, that's always the first goodies they like to nibble on, as they get a little older.

They are gorgeous. :-BD

kyle Awe, they are cuties!!! So happy your pair raised them, didn't your last clutch get raised by Societies? How are they coloring up by the way? Last I saw one of them had 2 blue feathers!!! They getting their colors? Congrats on the fledges, they are cuties!!!

Inlovesorange. Hi yes this was the first clutch they have raised on their own. The two that were raised by the society's are doing great, but no real change molting wise.

Congrats!! I miss my Goulds. Im gonna grab a few pairs at the next Bird Mart i get a chance to go to.

Such dear little guys! I have one Gouldian, that I hand-fed out of necessity~she can say "Pretty bird" and "Birdie". Especially when she wants out of her cage. Ha!
They are smarter than anyone thinks:)
If I were smart enough, I'd put a video of her on YouTube !
