Derk - Ah, I gotcha. Thanks!

I've emailed Petco to inquire why they're no longer selling them.

Perhaps it is just out of stock (though I can't imagine why you'd remove the listing from the site. Most stores keep the listing and just list it as out of stock, so people know to check back.)

The only bummer now is that I'll need to buy in sets of 4. It was nice being able to buy just one or two, knowing that I could get more of the same for consistency.

I guess I'll just need to grab a case next time I've got some extra money so I have them on-hand when I need them.

In fact, I've got a few that could use a good scrubbing on the grate (the underside in particular) and a re-do on the florals inside. So the set of 4 may be nice. I can just swap them out for a thorough cleaning and redecorating!

MiaCarter They are a little more expensive but i got my 30X18X18 at Birdcagesforless.com you can buy them in all different ways, with a stand, with a divider, w/o divider, you can buy 3 (which I think the more you buy the better the deal) the one 30X18 i bought was i think $56 but free shipping, and it's the one with the heart on the front grates, and the breeder door on this on the side, is a slide up and down not a hinge like the petco ones...BTW i saw this on Petco too, a month or so ago, so i think you are right in that they aren't carrying them...maybe that's why they were so cheap, cuz they were selling them all off? Anyway, I'm glad you posted this because I ran into this problem, and started looking around, in my area there is NO where else to buy this cage, I now HAVE to buy online... kinda stinks.... (i'm the type that I'll say oh i need this, and run out and get it, instant gratification kinda girl ya know?) Anyhow, at least now i know. I will write to petco as well, as i will NOT buy anything smaller for my birds, and they REALLY seem to like the 30X18X18... i bought a 30X19X36 and my gould's WON'T go to the bottom... i might as well have 2 cages for this one, then at least that space would be getting used!!!! (I'm in the process of changing... story for another day) But again thanks for posting this, and I know amazon had his cage set up and birdcages4less. you only have to buy 1 instead of 4, but a little more money, BUT free shipping. Good luck, if i can't find the link to email petco, I'lll be back to get it from someone!!!

MiaCarter
There is a bird 'studio' (bird only store) about 1hr from me were I can get the cages for $59 plus tax. The only other store is 1/2hr away and $80. I bought my first couple cages used (from a bird sanctuary that disinfected them - I also did same  ). I find the disinfecting removes some of the glossiness and therefore some finish. Any metal clips for feed dishes start to wear away paint. I have been thinking of replacing these instead of fixing. I have also moved to all plastic or glass dishes etc. I will likely buy the case to get a better deal & also get the divided cages. I only have two and they do come in handy. As I look up suppliers, I will add them here to the list. So I also thank-you for starting this.

ps - do people know you can also buy just the tray? The case sellers usually have them. They are also available on Amazon. If I don't buy extra cages, I thought I might buy a couple extra trays so that when I remove them for cleaning, the birds 'down under' don't need to worry about getting 'rained on.'
