Guys..went out this morning feed birds and my wee owls that were sitting on 6 eggs had chucked four eggs out the nest (and they were starting to form into wee birds) the two remaining eggs they left in nest were empty

im soooo sad as waiting on these little guys so much

Aw, that's so sad

. It took mine a while to get it right too. If I even looked at their nest the first year they tossed everything.

So sorry to hear this

, i've had similar experiences with them, as debbie said it's most likely going to take them a while to feel secure enough and get things right, i've 3 clutches due to hatch next week, 2 of which are on 2nd attempt after a failed clutch.
Delray, 'wee' is a common word used here meaning small

So sorry this happened. As others have said, it sometimes takes a while for parents to get it right. And some pairs will tolerate a bit of nest checking, others require absolute privacy.

Delray. Over in ireland 'wee' means small..like padraic (from ireland knows aswell) lol.. we have funny saying over here us irish ones.lol

Owls... *shudder* So cute but such a pain to breed for me...
My first pair took forever and then the only chick they ever raised ended up being a Star finch... The second pair laid eggs everywhere but the nest so Societies fostered them for me. And the third pair just magically produced babies with absolutely no help on my part. I didn't even realize it was a pair as they were just given to me...
