mummy zebra and her young daughter :)

My white zebra mummy (snowbell) and her young daughter(bella) :)
The mummy is now sitting on clutch eggs belonging to my wee owl finches who abandoned the eggs..hope they hatch (due next weekend)..

Just a heads up, owl chicks feed totally different then zebra so you might want to go get some handfeeding formula just in case you need to step in. Having handfeeding formula is always a good idea if your going to be breeding birds, it keeps well in the freezer.

Hi everyone. Zebra mother hatched wee owl finch but it only lived a day and died :( and 1 in egg it was also dead. Rest eggs were empty. So no wee owl finches this year. Maybe next year..
