And wouldn't you know it, after a scorching hot week of 30c + weather, today temps dropped down to barely 10, and nothing but rain, for my two buses and city train ride. I only got lost once and had to toss my umbrella (that went skirts up on me), but I finally made it to my destination.
Amazingly enough, there were quite a few people (for such a crappy day). There was a petting zoo, with all sorts of critters, hookbills, reptiles, the biggest rabbit I've ever seen, tortoises , and a baby kangaroo of some sort, who was as cute as can be.
There was a bird judging contest, a barbecue, a small silent auction (but no birds in it this year
), and all sorts of breeders with their feathered kids. I resisted the many different kinds of Zebras, Societies, Lovebirds, Budgies, Canaries, Doves, Parotlets, Pigeons, and an endless variety of Parrots of every kind. I resisted everything....... but how could I resist this young lady ?????

I'm not a expert but Veevee is a blue back, white breasted, red head or yellow head gouldian. Do you know her age? Or anything of her parents colour? You may have come home with only one bird but you picked a winner! Serendipity i think it it's your favorite combo for thr blue mutation. It took me 6 months to find one in my eara. I wonder how long it will be before your going to want a split for blue male.
