Zebra finch egg
Can someone give me some advice, I have an in door aviary, I have 2 female zebra finch and 3 male bengelese finch. 1 of the female zebra finch has laid an egg, but I'm very worried, has any one else had this problem, I was told by the pet shop they wouldn't breed, should I let this egg hatch.

There have been reports of breeding between Societies and Zebra finches, but it is not common. It is very possible that the egg isn't even fertile, and so nothing will come of it. To be sure, you could simply toss the egg. Hens can lay eggs even when they haven't mated with any male, but then they are infertile eggs.
