Lovely birds....I especially like the CB's. I just saw some in the PetSmart the other day and wished I had room for them....but the price brought me back to reality!

Good-looking birds! Two of my favorites, Stars and CBs, you will love them.

i am a little worried about my female star finch. She is thin looking, and has been since I got her. The male was the same size as her, but put on weight since being in our home. last night as I was saying good night to the birds, I noticed she had a black mark on her beak. maybe she hit it on something. it look like a scab or dried blood but it was not on a fleshly part. Then I looked closer and her bottom beak looks a little longer than her top, which I hadn't noticed before. hmmm, I think I will catch her tonight and get a better look. Maybe she is thin because she can't eat well.

Any thoughts?
