Back from a long hiatus!

Post by fhgwgads » Sun Nov 29, 2015 1:37 pm

Hello, everyone! Haven't been on in quite a while. I moved.. So it was hectic and then life happened as it tends to do. But I just wanted update those of you who were my friends! Kuri is happy and healthy as ever.. I swear that little girl is one strong little zebra! After all she's been through! She lost her mate Charlie last December.. That was her second mate. I got another male.. He's I believe a CFW but he's young so they aren't in the same cage yet. I also lost one of the three girls after the move. I don't know what the issue was but she was bleeding though not injured.. And then had a seizure. It was pretty devastating and traumatizing for me.. My poor baby. But the other two girls are doing great.. And so is Sparrow!! He is the happiest little one eyed bird I've ever seen!!! And since the move I've had NO problems with Kuri's health. So it wasn't anything I was doing wrong. I think it was the fact that there were issues with mold due to the roof leaking and the landlord was terrible. But anyway.. I just wanted to update anyone who I was close to! Hope all of you are well! And I apologize in advance if the font is messed up as I'm using my phone.

Well hello stranger , and welcome back to the Forum.

It sure has been a while.

Sorry to hear that you've had some losses, but glad to hear that the rest of the kids are doing alright.

Welcome back! Glad to hear that your birds are now doing well, though sorry to hear of your losses. A leaky roof certainly can lead to mold issues, so hopefully that is behind you now with a new home. We'd love to see photos!

I have been playing around with it, trying to get the same size as the usual posts, but this is at least larger.
