We have two Owl Fledglings, as of this evening :-D

# 2 Baby, popped out of the nest whilst I was writing about his older brother, lol.

They are both perching, and looking FINE \:D/

Yes, mystery definitely solved. THEY ARE MOST DEFINITELY OWLS :-D.

FLEDGLINGS UPDATE:

Both little darlings are perching today.
Once in a while I see them together, other times on seperate perches, so they must be managing some flight already.

Sunny and Sam, are feeding very nicely.

Mr and Mrs Owl, are extremely curious about these kids, but haven't seen them making any physical contact or attempting to feed.

What I did see today, which I thought was awfully cute, was one of my Red eared Waxbills, cuddling one baby Owl, and preening him. It was adorable. I so wish I could have snapped a picture, but my phone camera is iffy at the best of times, let alone across the kitchen, through flight bars :wink:

Not a clue as to their sex.
Owls, are notoriously difficult to figure out, and most definitely not at this age.

I just refer to them as 'he' because it's easier than he/she, and I don't like calling them an 'it'.
