Just got 5 new Fifes, white is male, one of the yellows is his mate to be, others will have blue mates and 1 yellow.

They're part of my 6 pairs...wish me luck for next year hopefully better than my zebras cause right now I feel like kicking their ass.

Was tgere something wrong with them, or did the parents simply not feed?

Did I mention I am terrified of owning zebras? I think I did a thousand times. "Starter finch" they call 'em..... 8-|

I feel like people who do well with them are pros.

Going out to buy more cages cause of them - but they're funny esp when I give them water baths :mrgreen:

My friend has an aviary - every month 4-6 babies or more pop out. Nests less than the pairs in there and 2 or 3 extra males.

Mine have a cage each with a choice of 2 cages. 6 pairs - 4 babies in a year. *swearing*
