Thanks guys.
I spent a fun hour sitting right beside the cage, nose just about glued to the bars. It was so cute, they were all coming right up to the bars, just about eyeball to eyeball with me.

Piemur, is the only one still a bit nervous , but then again he didn't grow up here. BB and babies, are very comfortable with my close proximity, and appear to be fascinated with my face .

Ohhh I love BB! I adore that "watcha doin human?" look!! Ever see them squint their eyes are you and blink slowly trying to register what you are saying?

Amongst the different species, I find only the Canaries and the Gouldians, that show the curiosity and lack the flightiness once they get the know you.

Doesn't everybody talk to their birds? Blue does that, which is why I love him so much. He gets very close, turns his head from side to side and sings. Sometimes I have moved my hand so close to him but if I actually touch his feet he flies away. some of these little ones really develop an affinity to be friends with us.

I talk to my birds as well. I think they know more about my rants than anyone human on the planet. ;) They always look at me like "why stress out human? There is a ton of millet!"

I love their "in the moment" attitude.

I think we all talk to our birds.
I whistle, I hum, and my Canary boys roar along with me. Everybody else sings too, but can't hear them over and above the Canaries .

I have a sneaking suspicion, that BB, has her mind set on another clutch....

She's starting to make those little noises again (on top of the blocked nest box).

I guess it's time to move the whole lot Into bigger accommodations, without a nest in sight . We don't need any more clutches right now.

All three kids are now eating on their own, but Mom and Dad will continue to feed for a while yet .

It's time to rest, fatten up a bit , then go Into molt . Some of my adults have already molted, some are in the process.

Need to buy more eggs , or chickens , to supply everyone with extra egg food.

Another clutch done....sigh....
