Thanks ladies ! I am thrilled they both have pushed through these last 4 days!. Here's the kids this morning after their first feeding! :YMHUG:

Karen I have raised older chicks, not one straight from the incubator. Their mouths were SOOOOO tiny! They could only hold 1/2 drop of formula the first few days.

Definitely the first time I had to gently force a tiny little mouth and feed it just to keep it alive (one didnt feed on its own until yesterday).
Since Thursday everything has been a blur from lack of sleep. I thought it would take forever for the one baby to beg on its own

You already sound like a pro at this!!! Congrats on getting them this far and getting yourself some much deserved sleep. I can't wait to see more pics as they progress.

just amazing, you may have more imprinted babies on you. by the way how is Hammie?

You great bird mama you....are you sprouting feathers yet? Eating seed? craving millet? Regurgitating?

Just checking.

Hammy is doing great! She is almost through her molt and as tame as ever :)

I believe you are right. **chewing millet** I kinda feel a little different lately. **stopping to preen** I just cant put my finger on it.

Actually bird seed doesn't taste too bad, sort of like healthy cereal, lol.
It's when you feel the need to place a perch across the toilet seat, that you know you're in trouble, Just dont start sleeping with your head facing backwards, might scare Bill half to death (...as music from the Exorcist plays in the background. ...)

I'm so happy that these two tiny tots are still with us, and doing well. :D

Hahahaha! You ate seed!! :))

Woman are you trying to kill me? I am sitting in my office chair twisting around trying to fathom how in the world I could get my head under my armpit backwards. L-)

Forget the toilet perching. I would flush myself down it. #-o

Wow! I'm so impressed! Great job! Wish you were my next door neighbor so you could save my little blue. Don't know what the secret is to keeping these tiny tots alive. You definitely have the knack for it! =D> =D> =D>

Looking good.
I'm jealous of your success.

I kinda wonder how societies get the chicks to beg on the first day out of the egg ????
