This has me puzzled. YB pair 2nd clutch, 10 eggs laid, still not SITTING overnight.
I have never had a pair lay that many eggs before I think my previous most eggs was 7.
Anyone have a gouldian lay this many eggs?
I'm worried that she is just laying and laying and laying. But not interested in SITTING, which would not be good for her.

I just had a pair lay 12 eggs and another 9 eggs. just not sure when the hen with 12 started to set. somewhere between 6 and 8 hatched within 24 hours of each other and the rest didn't go the distance.
I think your only a day or two from the answer
Well I guess they figured out how to deal with too many eggs, they tossed 2 of the eggs.
StodOne, I have 2 sets of societies, standing by if things like this happen. But I would like them to raise their own chicks. They successfully raised 3 in their first clutch, so I was hoping things would work fine for the 2nd clutch. So I am holding off for as long as I can, before I have to move the eggs to the societies.

The hen is still not sitting overnight, and they tossed 2 eggs.
So I've decided to shut them down for the season and move the eggs to the societies. Hopefully, some of the eggs are fertile, which I shall see in a week.
