It's a boy

Post by tam » Tue Apr 12, 2016 5:37 pm

The feather test results came back and it's official Winston is a Winston and not a (Winnie). Just a note for anyone living in MS ,Dr. Morris does treat small birds(finches) as well as big birds. He uses to own several pairs . -tam

So Winston it is :D

How did they do his DNA test with a feather?
Over here they clip the nail, to get a drop of blood and dab it on a card of some sort, then send it away for testing.

It's my understanding that the feather has to be plucked so there is a bit of blood in the end. It's actually the blood that they test and not the feather itself.

Turn towards home, and go there. Many overs, over woods and fields, streams and hills, many overs. Just turn towards home. How else would one go there? Perhaps it was a dream, and you have awakened from it. May the earth rise up beneath you, with home in your heart, and your person waiting.

Sojourner

Ok, thanks.
Too bad they can't just take a cheek swab, like they do with people.

Open wide.... :-O
