Pretty neat. The zebra got off the hatchling and left the nest enough to see the hatchling. At least I only see one hatchling.

NestCams are BAD. You end up watching and watching and watching and . . . Before you know it 3 hours has past.

Interesting to see them set up nesting in a feed dish.
Zebras are not picky, any place to lay and hatch the eggs.

What is the white nesting material in the nest?

OMG they're doing what mine do. Finished millet sticks must make good nesting material. The boy keeps bringing it to his girl lol

And is that egg 2 that has just hatched??? ooohhhhh, exciting. I've got this bookmarked

Babs

I don't know how long Periscope lets you stream, but here's a link to my CURRENT PERISCOPE but if I lose stream and have to start over, the link will change and you'd have to check my Twitter feed. But I don't think you need a Periscope account to watch (or Twitter), but I'm not completely sure...

mlisa73 I'm still watching! Everyday I put the cam on and see how those 3 little babies are growing. It's brilliant. I had it on last night then I checked it this morning and in 12 hours it's like they have transformed with baby feathers and everything. I'm loving the open nest and being able to see them so clearly all the time.

Its wonderful viewing, thankyou for sharing with us all. xx

Just watching them exercise their wings, thinking they would soon be fledging, when one hopped out of the nest onto the nearby perch! Then while typing this, I heard a commotion as it must have returned to the nest. Now they are being fed. This is a dangerous time sink! I've got to get to work today!!
