I was suppose to get 3 Finches today. However received a call from the lady I was getting them from that 2 of the birds got out and got attacked by the dog. I feel so sad about it, I was so excited about these guys. I'm getting the one finch that is alive. How long should I wait before I get another finch to keep him company?

What kind of finch? There are several members in Canada. You might have better luck with one of them.

I'm so sorry, I know you were very excited to get the three Society finches. You don't have to wait any time at all to get another one to be a companion to the one survivor. Finches are not good at being solitary birds, so he will appreciate a friend.

I called all the pet shops that are around me, and every place is sold out of society finches. I checked Kijiji and toronto is the only location with society finches, and I can't get that far. Will my finch be okay for a week alone? Until petsmart closes to me get more.

Yes, he'll be fine. Hopefully, Petsmart will get some in.

I feel bad for him, going from having 2 friends to being lonely. It's sad. Can't wait until more finches come in.
