Cordon Blue varieties
I was told that there are different size Cordon Blues. I can find informative on the difference in features but not on size.
Which one is the larger size one that is is one of the varieties about the size of Gouldians?
Thanks

Louys They all look the same same size to me. Perhaps it is different in your country.

I think they are all pretty close in size to me too. The Blue-capped CB has a more full, rounded body, while the Red-cheeked CB has a slimmer profile. The Blue-breasted CBs that I've had were about the same profile as the BCCB. I don't have Gouldians any longer to compare, but all my CBs are smaller than Gouldians, I think.

If 55 is the height, and you want to breed, I'd just keep one pair in that cage.

Sally no I don't want to breed. How many then.
If I decide to breed I will put the pair in different cage.

I was going to say if you intended to breed then only one pair,
However as you've stated that you don't want to breed I would house upto a maximum of 3 pairs but if you get the odd dominant bird that tries to bully then he / she must be removed
