I have 2 Stubborn Gouldians

I have 2 Male Gouldians. They are very stubborn and refuse to go down to the bottom of the cage for anything. I even put a plate of Spray Millet and seed, and they still won't go down. They just prefer to
stay up on their perches 24/7 and fly back and forth. So, how do I get these two boys to go down to the bottom of the cage to eat ?

JerseyGuy Have you tried taking all food away except for the plate of seed on the bottom of the cage? You have to watch them to make sure they do go down to the bottom.

I have removed the Millet Spray, and moved the seeds cups to the bottom of the cage. Hopefully it will cause the Gouldians to go down to the bottom of the cage to eat and drink. Right now they appear to be 'glued' to their perches. I'll have to watch this carefully.

How high off the ground is your cage?

The cage is on a Table which is 28-inches High.
