Breeding the green singer finch?

Post by Fraudster » Wed Aug 03, 2016 7:30 am

What is the best way to breed these little guys - sometimes, I see the hen begging for food, but the male doesn't feed her, but sometimes, when the male does try and regurgitate food, the female pecks him. What's happening?! It's winter here now. Are there any suplements/ diet I should supplement them with? Are they willing to use cup nests, etc? Cheers/

I'd like first-hand information on the Green Singing Finch as well. I have a few but not much knowledge about them. I do know they can really fly! Mine are in a large aviary, about 8' x 16'. My first guess is that they wouldn't be happy in a breeding cage.
