Madcat's Gorgeous Male has a Woman!

It was an absolute pleasure getting too meet Madcat & her husband a few months ago, and we took home with us one of her gorgeous Bluebacks. (all her birds are stunning btw).

Happy to say the he has chosen Bubbles (Brats kiddo) as his mate, and they have happily set up house in their own flight cage and cant keep their feathers off each other. Love is in the air and eggs are on the way. Lets see if these two eager kids get it right the first time.

I just noticed that "Jet" & "Bubbles" together sound like a sauna commercial. Now I have the giggles.

He really is gorgeous! Madcat brought all her blues out to meet with me and every single bird in that travel cage was beyond beautifu! She is a great breeder. She is a funny wonderful lady and I wish she would pop her tail on the forum so she can see his new mate.

They should start laying eggs by this Saturday. Bubbles is already hitting the cuttlebone and scarfing the eggshells.

Babs yeah I haven't been logged in recently. But I just came out of the aviary and started my "breeding program." Since one pair already got a head start I figured I'd get prepared because the other couples will smell love in the air shortly

Jet and bubbles just laid their 2nd egg today. They are practicing sitting and trading. Very sweet with each other. I actually think these two may get one clutch all the way through the first season. He is a sweet confident boy.
