Male or females Zebra finch? (photo)

Would someone be able to identify whether this is a male or female Zebra finch? Many thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum, I am sorry I do not know how to tell the difference, but there are many members that may be able to help you. I just wanted to tell you how adorable that little finch is !! :)

I can only sex normal gray Zebra finches, but others should be able to help you. I did want to welcome you to the forum! There's lots of good reading at www.finchinfo.com, where you will find many articles on finch care and the Zebra finch. If you put your general location in your profile, it makes it easier for members to answer locale-specific questions later on.

looks to be a female split to pied....gray zebras males have red beaks and hens have orange....unless the bird is a yellow beak mutation....I see no hints of a breast bar or cheek patches on this bird.

hen because the bottom of the beak is orange (cleary seen in the second picture) , is she hungry loolks like she will die have u seen here eatin

She is doing great. Her aerial skills are impressive! She eats millet out of my palm. Elle est en bonne forme. :-)

Any other experts on identifying this beautiful bird's sex?

Elle me parrait un peu fatiguée et en boule enfin puisque vous le dites qu'elle est e' bonne sante je vous crois ah les apparences !
Oui c'est une femelle. Panachée, la mandibule inferieure est orange.

If you re always not sure about its sex put it in front of a male and see what happens
