Yea mate, definitely quite agree, in some ways it could partly be why I love African, Asiatic and Aussie finches, watching all of the documentaries and tropical wildlife programs etc about em out in the outbacks and terrain etc,
For many many years I've bred British finches and know literally everything about their habitats etc being on me door step but to me the keeping, breeding and exhibiting of world wide foreign finches is somewhat far more interesting and exciting
