I've never specifically had these but I well remember having other varieties of combassou probably over 25 odd years ago :-BD

I can imagine that bird would look beautiful under full spectrum lighting! Very pretty.

yes that's true , i was stupefied when i have seen his colors dark at first but with close sight wondered by the blue and violet spectres on his back :shock:

Yes I'd definitely agree on that aswel,

Full spectrum lighting enhances all blue and purple colouration, serious breeders actually use such lighting in there birdrooms because when it comes to the breeding season the birds can see these highlighted colours a lot better with this type of lightning and can help improve the birds courtship displays because of these colours now being enhanced,

I'm currently going to be installing this type of lighting into me birdroom ready for next seasons breeding season :-BD
