NFSS Show in Temple TX

I'll be in Temple TX tomorrow acting as secretary for the Finch Division of the Texas Bird Breeders & Fanciers annual show. Please stop by and say hi if you are in the area. I don't usually have a lot of time to visit, since I have to keep the books and keep up with the judge, but I always have a little time. You can learn a lot from watching judges, too. The judging is scheduled to start at 9am, we usually take a lunch break, and hopefully finish up by 4, though there is no hard and fast rule on this.

There is a mart in conjunction with this show too, so you can visit and shop, all in one trip!

How was Temple Sally? I hated to miss it! My son had a playoff football game and three soccer games that day...it was crazy.

slwatson It was smaller than usual, Stacie. I was very happy to see Colt show here, and he placed 8th on Top Ten bench, plus won a lovely plaque for Best Novice! Hopefully, he is now hooked. I think he had a lot of fun. We are a good group, I think, as we root for each other, lots of visiting and teasing.

I'm NOT missing the next show! I really want to show too I'm so glad Colt did well!!! That's great

slwatson Show season is over for this year, except for Nationals next month, but we start again in September. Cheryl and I do the circuit, Seguin (San Antonio), then Cleburne, Houston, and finally Temple. If you want to show next year, you can always borrow show cages. We do have a lot of fun. Helen went with us to Seguin last September, we had a blast!
