My Pearl-headeds are getting VERY friendly!

Post by CoMtnGal » Fri Jan 06, 2017 5:46 pm

My lovely Pearl-headed Amadines that I've had for a month now are getting very friendly. I believe they are mating in the nest! I'll be updating here! I believe the female is on the right. She is a fluffy bird. NOT sick. She has more feather and likes to flare out the sides. So funny and different.

CoMtnGal - They sure are pretty birds. None available around here as far as I know. Your bird store is so far superior to the ones we have here.
Good luck!

isobea , thanks! My Lavenders and Black-cheeked are showing the same interests. I'm cautiously optimistic and studying up on nutrition!

CoMtnGal

Sounds like you might be on the baby train, sooner than you expected, lol.

Not saying that you should count your chickens, before they hatch..... but have you given any thought about your plans for future upccoming infants, or are you planning on keeping all the offspring?
