Parasite Cleanser/ Dewormer

Post by Chubbychickenbones » Sat Jan 21, 2017 9:58 pm

I keep reading all this talk about deworming and parasite cleansing of your birds and I never did that long ago with my past finches. I now feed my current finches live food and well attempting too as they stopped eating it. I read you all will do it more frequent if they eat live food. Yet where do I get this stuff? No pet stores I go to know what I am talking about nor do I ever see anything labelled as such (for parasites) .

Chubbychickenbones Many supplies have to be ordered online, as the local pet shops don't carry them. I get Morning Bird's Worm Away online. You can check out various vendors to see which ones are the most economical shipping to Canada.

Chubbychickenbones I think twice a year would be plenty. Many people who have outside aviaries worm their birds too, because they are eating live food in the aviaries, plus being exposed to wild birds.
