A Canary By Any Other Colour......

Post by lovezebs » Sat Jan 21, 2017 2:14 pm

Hello Happy Canary Lovers,

Came across this video, and was wondering if anyone had ever seen a Canary this colour?

I know I haven't. :?:

Then another interesting video, about different Canary mutations.

lovezebs - Morning Elana, the first one looks photo-shopped to me, too squeaky green. The second video: I have seen most of the color variations and breeds. Nice to have them side by side in one video. Makes you want to buy even more, doesn't it?

This bird is
....painted; some unscrupulous deals color birds artificially
or
....photoshopped
or
....a new breakthrough genetically.

I agree with isobea. I just wish it was genetic!

Thanks, lovezebs, for the post.

Hi all.

I thought I was the only one who hasn't seen a Canary that shade of green, lol, but then there are many many things that I haven't seen :D .

The second video, is interesting in the very fact that it shows all sorts of different mutations that are out there.

Many people, hear Canary, and the only image that comes to mind is the cute generic yellow bird that granny used to have in a cage in her kitchen, lol.

And yea Nerine, you're right, it would make a fab screen saver :-BD

Is there a way I can capture the sound from that 2nd tube, put it on my computer iTunes & then put it on a disc so I can play it for my canary?

Hi Dolly,

The only way I do it, is, is just put my phone or tablet in the bird room, find the u-tube vid which I like and press play.

Not sure how to burn a disk off the computer, you need on of the youngsters on the Forum to pipe in, lol. They would know how it's done :D
