Can't force them to eat egg.
Some will, some won't, some need to be taught.
Interestingly, some will change what they eat when they have chicks to feed. So don't give up on the egg food.

Re: gouldians not fond of egg fod
In the beginning, my Gouldians didn't like eggfood either. Then they were introduced to other species in their cage, and when those guys ate the eggfood, my Goulds were like "wait a fast minute...I want some too!!!" Don't hog it all!!!
I read some time back that "teacher birds" were used to show other birds how to experience things that they were not used to. It obviously worked because now ALL my birds, Goulds included, eat eggfood. I mix it up with greens (my latest find is a Kale/Beet/Carrot mix from Walmart that I chop up, then add my egg recipe to that and mix it up. Elena has a good recipe, just try adding what you have on hand and eventually they will come around. Don't give up!
