He can see blurs of color. When you wave your hand in his face he can only follow the motion. He can't see it's a hand. Only that something is moving.

Porky has no reaction at all. You can flsh a bright flash light right at the eye socket, or touch the areas where his eyes should be....there is just nothing there

His sense of sound location will amaze you. Buttercup tells Midget her location in the cage with constant low chirps.

Even if she is still, he goes to her by her voice.

I dont think your kid will be able to ever use perches like midget (unless he gets real good at memorizing). He may be a floor-dweller much like Max.

I had considered adding him to Max's cage, but not sure if Max would welcome a youngster he might have to feed, although who knows.... Maybe there are starved parenting instincts in that battered scarred tiny body.
