White growth ? on beak help on this please
I noticed a couple of weeks ago that our female Fire finch had a small light spot of white on one side of her beak. i guessed that she had unfortunately been below the male and got hit with his dropping. Now a couple of weeks later it has become more noticeable. Wondering if she has some sort of fungal infection or some sort of scale ? there now. Or, possibly a change due to being in mating mode? I did a google search but did not come up with anything that looks like it. Any help on identification and treatment will sure be appreciated. She seems very healthy and has been laying eggs in semi nesting mode.

It looks like mites to me and is also on the feet. Someone more familiar with the treatment I'm sure will post soon. Do you see the same thing on the feet and legs? How about the other bird?

From the picture i donk think it is mites, or any kind of fungus, it looks like she hurted her beak somehow.
I would apply a natural oil once a day and watch closely.

I don't see it on the birds feet or on her mate either. Just the one area on the one side of her upper beak area. It looks a bit different than the parakeet scale face, but wonder if it might be something similar?
