Hi All Finchly Folk,
Look at this mega cool bird apartment building in Japan.
Came across this on my internet travels, and I love it. Can you imagine how neat it would be to spend some time in the human part of it and look into all those little apartment and see what goes on in there?
What do you think?

Oh my good gaud what ever next
Have seen it all now, good idea in some ways to get people and especially children to view in the back of the nest boxes and learn all about the birds breeding habits etc but in reality I certainly wouldn't wanna breed birds this way,
I know that birds like weavers and such like nest in large collanies but surely not that many nests so closely packed together,
Can certainly see some squabbling going on there

And this being in the wild, I am not sure the nesting birds would appreciate people constantly climbing up and down the back, or excitedly talking just behind their nests either...
Good old nest boxes should work better in a nature reserve.
