Hello all...

Well our wee little boy Porky has started growing, and his feathers are coming back where he was plucked as a baby.

He is also eating and drinking on his own now, and even has a bath in his shallow water dish.

And here he is, eating egg food with some of the crew, and checking out one of the seed trays.

lovezebs I don't see any need to close this thread. The story of Porky and your efforts to make life comfortable for him are interesting to say the least. This is inspiring for those who face similar challenges

Comments regarding the wisdom of whether one bird is worth rescuing rather than another have no place in this forum. This is a personal choice for a member to undertake this task, and the very least anyone can do is offer encouragement. Any more comments that are not supportive will be removed. This forum is about helping each other, not criticizing someone else's choices.
