New Black-headed Gouldian family
We received this black-headed pair a few months ago and their 3 fledglings were 41 days old yesterday and weaned so they were moved to a larger flight cage. Here is a quick pic of the family before the fledglings were moved. Their mouths are open because they were a little nervous about me taking their picture. They are not begging.

What a lovely family portrait.
I wonder if the kids will be black or red heads after they molt.

Thanks Elana. I thought the fledglings would be black-headed since the parents are. (?)lovezebs wrote: a_gouldian

You're probably right.
I was just wondering if the parents are split to any other colours.

I just looked at the pedigree charts for the parents and the parents of both the adults were all BPG.lovezebs wrote: a_gouldian

I have a difficult time when buying, as most sellers can't/don't tell me if any of the birds are split to another color. So I have to find that out when I breed them, and get a surprise.
