I would highly suggest anyone keeping the Ronex on hand. I had to get it one time in an emergency and it saved one of my beautiful yellow goulds. It doesn't hurt to give like an antibiotic would.
It you have any type of damp conditions for a bird I think it is a MUST to have on hand.

aero, it your birds have watery dropping a good way to start is with the ronex. I had a gouldians one time and had no idea what was wrong with him. I treated him with ronex as suggested by Larraine at ladygoudian.com and it worked! You mix it in the water for five days and you can give it to all birds so you don't have to seperate the one that needs it. I truly believe it saved this bird.
