Pied star finch or zebra and starfinch hybrid ?

Got told when I got this hen as a replacement for the one that died that she was a somewhat different one not just a normal but is she a pied or a hybrid like a zebra someone stated ?

The side of her face, is it pink/red? Or is it plucked? Can't tell from the picture. The light yellow colouring, could be from a Yellow Star ancestor (like my boy in this picture).

Can you can a clearer, sharper snap of her face?

lovezebs it has had some plucking and fighting issues as she was the only lone female out of 6 pies of stars in an aviary so was abit bullies but she just has yellow face that red part is scabs

its definatly a hen pied,

take a close look at the light feathering on the head, lower belly and also the flight feathers

The hen is still very young. I have about 10 pied star chicks in my aviary in different stages of colouring up.

im not actually sure of her age but been told she has had a few clutches last year hopefully she’s atleast a yr old

How old are you saying she looks and by the way on her face she has loads of cuts and scratches from her previous home
