This is the first clutch Tux & Charm have raised. They've been out of the nest for 8 days and are close to weaning. Big clutch of 7 kiddos.
I would say these two are doing a fantastic job as parents.

All 7 healthy and strong. Still puzzled as to why they didnt give me any fawns this time. Their last 3 I hand-raised and one was a fawn .

Babs oh yes I could imagine my two eat a full millet in like 10 seconds so imagine all these greedy monsters haha

Thanks ladies! I was a little worried about the dad (Tux). He can be a bit of a jerk with other adult javas. But he has turned out to be a fine daddy bird for sure.

Thank you! Parents are working hard! The kids are quite assertive when they want those feedings. Chasing them all around the flight. Funny to watch. I suspect these kids will make great parents one day.
