Aviary construction - new pics

Post by steph » Sat Feb 28, 2009 2:25 am

I've probably mentioned that I'd be posting new pics of the aviary (or "finchiary" as my husband calls it) in half a dozen different threads, so I'm just starting a new one.

The entire flight and safety porch are framed and now painted (will probably do a second coat tomorrow). One door is built, and one will be built tomorrow. Both doors will be painted tomorrow as well. Hopefully by Sunday we'll be installing and painting the hardware cloth!

Thats very attractive. I like seeing the indoor aviaries, since that is what I would build, in the future.

Hi Steph. Aviary is looking great! Looking at your pics, is the safety porch in front of the sliding glass door?

The sliding door actually opens from the other end. The part that the aviary is blocking doesn't open :)

Thanks, everyone, for the comments!
