This morning I heard Babies in the nest

I hope they will make it. My hen is a little under the ice. At first I thought she was egg bound. She has spend her days at the bottom of the cage since friday. I have given her calcium and vitamins. She has spend the nights in the nest. The male is taking his part really well! So fingers crossed

I have a pair of Zebra Finches, Tage and Birgitta.
In the future I would also like to have one pair of Blue-capped Cordon Bleu and one pair of Red-billed firefinch

It looks like it is 4 babies! Al goes well! The parents are great, especially Tage. He feed them more then Birgitta is. She sits outside the nest just beeping. She’s such a diva

I have a video of the babies from today. But I don’t know how to attach it.

That’s great news!! I have two baby finches at the moment. I would have had more, had the mice not gone and killed them.
