If you're looking for something to breed, then no, they aren't worth keeping. They are infertile, and are typically a domestic canary X European goldfinch hybrid.
I've heard that they have a nice song and look pretty, so they might be worth keeping for that reason. They might make decent foster parents for canaries or goldfinches; however, the babies will have to be kept separate from the mules once they wean if they are to develop behavior and vocalizations appropriate for their species.

Re: Goldfinch mule info
Goldfinch mules are very pretty, I would keep them. I have a goldfinch (not a mule but still very pretty) and she is just for keeping, I would never breed her.

Male goldfinch mules are best housed in their own cages.
They can be very aggressive.

Re: Goldfinch mule info
Oh I see, I wonder why the goldfinch mules are like this? Is it just because they are a cross of two birds? Because my goldfinch is fine with all my birds.Fraza wrote: Flight Feathers yeh they are pretty and nice sound but keep them they wouldn’t go well in the aviary and I can’t have them in the house sometimes I need the cages in the house if a bird gets hurt or for breeding
